Sacred Hearts are a important part of Mexican culture, being a popular element of magical realism, in this movement the real events merge with imaginary ones. Mexico traditions and art are full with “realismo mágico” with my hearts I try to represent the mysticism where there is a juxtaposition of elements.

All the art pieces listed here had been made by myself in my home/studio, I crafted each of them individually with clay, using my wheel, my hands or both; I like to play with the forms, alternating, carving and adding texture or pieces to the original form.

After the piece is done and dry I fired them in my kiln, two times. One is to bake them and have “bisque” ready to glaze. I have a variety of low fire and high fire glazes that I chose carefully to make the piece more beautiful.

I feel so grateful to be able to do what I like most, and is an honor to me seeing that this pieces that I’ve put my time and passion into make their way to good places where they will be loved.

This artwork is carefully packaged in bubble wrap and papers and ship in a box for safe travels.
